Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Oro 2004
VW: Recommended by someone on the 2003 version, so when the 2004 is released I decided to give it a try. Supposingly the best in last few years, this showed lots of plummy fruit. Floral perfume, very tasty yet truely Italian and show that beautiful Tuscan sun. I can see many people would appreciate the suppleness and easy to like nature of the wine. It lacks some concentration and length to be really great but nonetheless, some more time in cellar can bring extra elegance to this jewel from Ruffino. 91 (Feb, 2009)
