2005 CUVÉE DU VATICAN CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE RESERVE SIXTINE
AC: Once again the Vatican performances. With it’s fruit nose and palate, it has good balance with right acidity. Tiny bit of grass to the taste, this wine has good finish and right amount of tannins. Not sure if it’s that I had too many cab blend the night before, this CdP share some characteristics with the Bordeaux and therefore lacks a bit of the dustiness I usually find in CdPs. In any case, this is definitely a very enjoyable wine – 92
