2005 CONDE DE SAN CRISTÓBAL TINTO
VW: This Spainish Tinto was on sales in Vintages. Cedar, dark berries nose which turned more alcoholic later on. Very smooth and fluid in the mouth that went down easily. At the same time the mid palate is somewhat hollow, lacking some concentration. Good now. 89 (April, 2009)

2001 Pesquera Ribera Del Duero Tinto
VW: Showing smoke and sweet black fruits. Tannis already smoothed out but still in great shape. Drinking well on 2nd day even. Good value. 91 (Nov 12, 2007)
