2004 Stratus Cabernet Franc
VW: Although Stratus is famous for it’s blended bottlings, here is a Cabernet Franc from this high profile Niagara winery. Cherry and tea leaves on the nose. Again predominately cherry on palate with some leather and slight oak in the finish, crisp acidity. Good flavour but lean in style. Light tannis and lacking some intensity. Maybe it will get better? 89 (Dec 7, 2007)
