GINI Wine Tasting

AC: Despite having some good old-world element, this wine isn’t what I expected. Quite simple, I find this wine lack fruit to support… even bitter at times. This exact vintage is rated 92 by Antonio from Wine Advocate… maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention… 89

VW: I like it a little more than AC. Sweet sensation of fruits that is easy to like. Full bodied and full of flavour in the mouth. Truly Italian, unpretentious and  plainly enjoyable. Only without the depth nor complexity to make it more special. 91 (May, 2009)
