2004 Alvaro Palacios Les Terrasses
AC: The fourth Spanish we drank in a week. Start off with a fruity nose, this highly rated by Jay Miller[93] red from the Priorat region is quite California like. Black fruits in the mid-palate, this tasteful wine still has the right level of tannins. Probably more concentration and a stronger finish will make this a better wine. 90
VW: Wide array of red to black fruits on the intense and inviting nose. Ripe fruit palate has a sweet sensation. The wine did gain some weight over time but I would not cellar it for long. Very tasty now and as AC suugested, this is almost new world like. Good but not exactly my style. 91 (Dec 14, 2007)
